
Bassel Eid was born and raised in Mazraat el Daher, Chouf District, Lebanon. He is a well-known Lebanese singer, musician and composer with a career spanning over 15 years.
He started Singing very young at the age of ten during the school breaks, entertainment periods and end-of-year school occasions. After his school graduation, his parents, noticing apparent musical talents in him, encouraged him to pursue his ambitions and further enhance his music knowledge.
He then decided taking up singing and playing the lute "oud", the instrument for which he had a great passion. So he enrolled at Le Conservatoire Libanais National Superieur de Musique,(The Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music) in which he studied Lute instrumentation, Theory, Solfege & Oriental Singing.
After completing his musical studies, Bassel performed on different occasions such as marriages, birthday parties and social events. He also sang in many big restaurants and fancy hotels around several Arab countries, including Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Oman, Tunisia & the UAE.
Eid released his first single "Albi Malak" that was written and composed by Tony Abi Karam, arranged by Nicolas Chebli, mastered by Tony Haddad & recorded at Studio Audio Vision. The single has dispersed promptly and garnered great success all around the Middle East.
